Bikes for Kids

October 8, 2006 - Bikes for kids was a joint effort by St. Louis Rams and the children’s charity, St. Louis Variety. In attendance was Mustafa F. Muhammad, Founder and Executive Director of Reach One Teach One and nine members. List of members: Kayla Stallings and Zavon Walker (holding the sign), De Angel Burns, Jaquies Welch Jameel Zaiyad, Kameron Gibson, Natalie Griffin, D’ Angelo Burns, and Dajah Murphy. Officer John La Plante made a safety presentation to Reach One Teach One, and volunteers presented bicycles, bicycle adjustments and helmet fittings to children on the indoor practice field.

Reach One Teach One, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide educational and social enrichment programs for pre-adolescent and adolescent youth between grades K-12 in urban primary and secondary schools. This organization will also provide services to the participating parents, with efforts to enhance and promote family.
